Classes
Primary A
The young students are taught body awareness and basic locomotor skills. The use of imagination is strongly encouraged thru props such as wands, scarves and tambourines. Students are given improvisation exercises, moving like animals, pirates, fairies and princesses. Disney Music and Nursery Rhymes are used together with classical music encouraging students to sing along and express themselves.
Primary B-Level 3
Students in these levels are entered into the Australian Conservatoire of Ballet Examination program. The program is a Vaganova (Russian) based syllabus developed by Christine Walsh M.A., former Ballerina of the Australian Ballet Company. Special attention is given to proper placement, ballet theory and musical expression. `Open classes, foot therapy and yoga stretches support the training program. |
